How to Install MapLead Pro

Step 1: Download & Extract the Files

1. Fill out the download form on our home page to receive the MapLeadPro.zip file.

2. Locate the downloaded file on your computer (usually in your Downloads folder).

3. Extract (Unzip) the file. On Windows, right-click the file and select "Extract All". On Mac, simply double-click the zip file. This will create a new folder containing the extension files.

Note: It is highly recommended to move this extracted folder to a permanent location (like your Documents folder) so you don't accidentally delete it later.

Step 2: Access Chrome Extensions Page

1. Open your Google Chrome browser.

2. Click on the three vertical dots (the Chrome menu) in the extreme top-right corner of the window.

3. Hover over Extensions, then click on Manage Extensions.

Shortcut: You can also simply type chrome://extensions/ into your browser's URL address bar and press Enter.

Step 3: Enable Developer Mode

1. Look at the top-right corner of the Extensions page.

2. You will see a toggle switch labeled Developer mode.

3. Turn this switch ON. The toggle will turn blue, and a new menu bar will appear at the top left of the screen.

Step 4: Load the Unpacked Extension

1. In the new menu bar that appeared at the top left, click the button that says Load unpacked.

2. A file selection window will open. Navigate to the folder you extracted in Step 1.

3. Select the main folder (make sure you select the folder that contains the manifest.json file inside it) and click "Select" or "Open".

4. MapLead Pro will now appear in your list of installed extensions!

Step 5: Pin and Start Extracting!

1. Click the Puzzle Piece icon (Extensions) located to the right of your Chrome address bar.

2. Find MapLead Pro in the dropdown list.

3. Click the Pin icon next to it so it stays visible on your toolbar.

4. You are ready to go! Go to Google Maps, search for a business, and click the MapLead Pro icon to open the extraction side panel.
